Being attacked by 20 lions, the leader of the buffaloes got mad and used his horns to stab the lion’s throat.

While wandering in search of food with the herd, an adult buffalo was caught in the sight of the lions.

As soon as they see an opportunity, they immediately rush to attack. In just a moment, 4 lionesses defeated the buffalo and then rushed to bite.

Being attacked fiercely, the buffalo did not lie still waiting to die, but continuously counterattacked. It even used its powerful horn to launch a flank hook to attack a lioness. Even though the opponent was injured and had to die, the buffalo could not survive.

The African bush buffalo, also known as the Cape buffalo, is one of the Big Five, along with lions, leopards, rhinos and elephants. Buffalo is widely distributed in eastern and southern Africa and is not an endangered species.

With an adult body weighing from 500kg to 1 ton, the African buffalo is like a solid tank capable of knocking all enemies away. The curved horns and large hump on the head are also powerful weapons to make it more secure when confronting predators.

Like other feline species, lions are superb predators and key predators thanks to their abundant prey populations. Their main prey is mammals, especially medium to large ungulates.

Usually female lions hunt more than male lions, but in the case of large, large-sized prey that requires strength, the male lions will take action.
