After being caught by the male lion, the wildebeest tried to struggle and rammed the opponent. Thanks to that, it escaped from the clutches of the lord of the grasslands.

However, after escaping, the wildebeest did not run away to preserve its gills. Instead, it actively rushes to attack the male lion. As a result, the wildebeest was knocked to the ground by the lion and ended with a fatal bite.

Wildebeest are herbivores, often living in herds on the vast African savanna. Of course, like many other herbivores, they often “play” prey in many life-and-death battles with other predators.

The rare weapon that the wildebeest is equipped with by mother nature is the sharp horns on its head. However, they are not enough to deal with large, numerically dominant carnivores such as lions or occasionally cheetahs.
